NFL Transactions


There has been many transactions during these last three days. The biggest transactions are probably Terrel Owens being released by the Cowboys and Ray Lewis resigning with the Ravens. Big receiver signings were those of Laveranues Coles going to the Bengals and T.J. Houshmandzadeh going to the Seahawks.


More signing from this week:

Browns: Signed tight end Robert Royal.

Cowboys: Released safety Roy Williams.
Broncos: Signed running back J.J. Arrington and quarterback Chris Simms.

Lions: Signed corner back Phillip Buchanon to two-year contract.

Chiefs: Agreed to terms with wide receiver C.J. Jones.

Patriots: Acquired wide receiver Greg Lewis and an undisclosed 2010 draft selection from the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for an undisclosed 2009 draft choice; re-signed linebacker Eric Alexander, punter Chris Hanson and safety James Sanders.

Buccaneers: Re-signed safety Jermaine Phillips, tight end Jerramy Stevens and wide receiver Cortez Hankton.

Cardinals: Signed quarterback Kurt Warner.

Falcons: Re-signed defensive end Chauncey Davis to a four-year contract.
Ravens: Agreed to terms with center Matt Birk on a three-year contract.

Bills; Re-signed offensive lineman Kirk Chambers.

Broncos: Signed running back LaMont Jordan.

Lions: Signed defensive tackle Grady Jackson to a three-year contract.

Jets: Signed safety Jim Leonhard; agreed to terms with kicker Jay Feely on a one-year contract.
49ers: Re-signed linebacker Takeo Spikes; signed quarterback Damon Huard.

Rams: Re-signed corner back Ron Bartell to a four-year contract.

Buccaneers: Signed kicker Mike Nugent.

Falcons: Re-signed tight end Justin Peelle, linebackers Coy Wire and Tony Gilbert, defensive tackle Jason Jefferson, offensive lineman Ben Wilkerson, safety Jamaal Fudge, running back Jason Snelling, corner back Brent Grimes and safety Antoine Harris.

Bills: Re-signed fullback Corey McIntyre.

Bengals: Re-signed running back Cedric Benson.

Cowboys: Signed linebacker Matt Stewart to a one-year contract.

Broncos: Signed defensive tackle Ronnie Fields and corner back Andre' Goodman.

Jaguars: Re-signed defensive end James Wyche.

Chiefs: Named Ronnie Bradford defensive assistant coach and Nick Sirianni offensive quality control coach.

Dolphins: Signed center Jake Grove to a multi-year contract.

Vikings: Released linebacker Vinny Ciurciu.

Jets: Signed safety Jim Leonhard; re-signed fullback Tony Richardson.

Buccaneers: Signed running back Derrick Ward.

Redskins: Re-signed corner back DeAngelo Hall and offensive lineman Derrick Dockery.

  1. I think that Terrell Owens going to the Buffalo Bills. And I think the Miami Dolphins are going to win the superbowl. I also think the Patriots are going to win the title. Did you hear about that star Wide Receiver John Garcia going into the NFL draft. I want the Dolphins to get him but he is too high of a pick. He will be picked in top 5
